FALLFEST Pageant 2006 Pageant Sisters Praise Reports

WOW! I'm so thrilled about the enthusiasm demonstrated by each group. The praise reports reflected the genuine spirit of sisterhood and positive aspects of pageantry that the program was designed to promote.

TEAM 1 - Pageant Mommas on Board

My daughter, Sierra, was paired with two sweet little girls for this activity. First was Saylor. What a little doll. We had seen Saylor in many contests, so she was a familiar face! Saylor and her mom, Priscilla, graciously offered her us as a gift, a free entry into the PC that she runs. Saylor's mom runs a pageant named after her. Saylor's mom says that she is a sweet little bundle of energy and that she loves competing in pageants. Saylor has a couple of big pageants coming up and we wish her the best of luck!!!
Sierra was also paired with Emily, a little cutie also from the Midwest about 6 hours from us! Emily and her mom were super sweet to offer us a free entry into their Halloween Costume PC. We had a lot of fun taking pics for that! Emily is new to the Miss Beautiful US Model pageant, but i know she will love it! Emily is such a photogenic little thing! She already has won some online photo contests! Her mom is really proud of her. Her sister Hannah also competes! Which is funny because Sierra has a sister named Hannah too, who competes as well! Coincidences!! It was so nice to meet each one of these outstanding little ladies and I know that we pageant moms will continue to talk via email about our little ones! Thanks MBUSM for the chance to get to know these young ladies!

Wow, what a great experience! Where do I start? It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know these lil ladies! My Pageant Sisters are Miss Emily and Miss Sierra.
Emily is a girly 2 year old, who loves to do photo contests. She also has an older sister named Hannah. Emily's mommy directs Dazzlig Cuties PC, that's just proof, of how much she loves photo contests.
Sierra is going to be 22 months on Oct. 30, she's about to hit birthday #2! Sierra is from SE Missouri in a little town called Oran. Sierra is such a good baby she actually listens when you tell her no, she hates it, but she listens! She's so full of life, she knows no strangers, she's so full of energy. She has only been doing pageants for about 9 months now and have only been doing photo contests and online pageants since June.

What a great bunch of Moms and very busy moms. Emily got a great little gift in the mail from Saylor which Hannah took off with once she saw lip gloss. And as much as we love photo contests we were always happy to get free entries into contests from Saylor and Mom. And Emily loved the email cards. She thought they were so funny. We hope they also enjoyed the free entries we offered along with their Halloween Medals as soon as they get them!

TEAM 2 - Hallila

PRAISE REPORT ABOUT HANNAH:
Hannah is a very lovely girl who loves to talk. We emailed each other just about everyday! She is 11 1/2 years old, living in Sikeston, MO. She was born there too. Since her parents are divorced, she mostly lives with her mom, and spends the weekend with her dad. She loves having a big family of 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and 2 double cousins. Ellie and Hannah have so much in common. Her favorite color is PINK just like Ellie, and most of her clothes are pink also! She likes pickles, tomatoes, and chocolates, and so does Ellie except pickles. she is going to be a ladybug for Halloween while Ellie will be a bumble bee, so we both had same ideas on costumes too! We will keep in touch even after the pageant :)

PRAISE REPORT ABOUT KYLA:
Kyla is a fun girl with ball of super energy! She is 4 years old and lives in Jackson, MS. She loves fashion, singing, dancing and watching Disney channel. Everyone says she reminds them of Raven from "That's So Raven." Now she makes them call her Kelley from CHEETAH GIRLS. I would like to congratulate on her first and the only goal that she made at the soccer game last Saturday. She is very smart and moved up to 4 year old class even though her birthday fell after Sept 1, and mom and dad are very proud of her! She is the only child in the family, and she was a flower girl when mom and dad got married early this year. We promised to stay in touch, and she said she might come to visit me in Hawaii someday :)

I am so glad that Kyla has two new friends whom we will keep in contact with on a regular basis. Ellie who’s from Hawaii sent Kyla the cutest little snail mails. The first one was an ecard, then we received a picture that was enhanced and had all the girls’ picture that was emailed to each other so they would know who they were talking too. We also received a Halloween ecard and another package with Halloween stickers. Elle has a dog just like Kyla and both have family in Texas. From Hannah we received an ecard, and a package that contained two of Kyla’s favorite things, lip-gloss and nail polish. Hannah lost another tooth, now Kyla keeps asking me about her teeth. When kyla first saw a picture of Hannah all she could talk about was combing her hair. Kyla sent ecards for Sweetest Day, Just Because and Halloween and packages that contained a Bracelet for Hannah and a Princess pencil, stickers and book for Ellie. Kyla now wants to see them and play with. Being an only child, this experience has made her so happy. She tells everyone we see, I have two sisters. Thank you for pairing us up with Ellie and Hannah.

Kyla is a very loving girl.She is a very pretty 4 year old and is very athletic in soccer.She loves to help everyone,and does as much as her little heart can.She looks like mini Raven off of That So Raven, because she is a courageous social butterfly.She also is a little ball of energy.She means so much to her mom and dad.She has made my days brighter and more happier.She also loves to entertain people by singing and dancing and just plain old having' fun!She loves to make you feel better and I thank you for putting her as my Pageant Sister!!!!!!!!!!!
For Ellie:
Ellie is a 3 year old role model! She is a Hawaiian Princess.She wants to learn cheer- leading, and is a pink lover. She could live with just chocolate!She loves to swim at the beach and run and bounce in the house.She loves to do holiday decorations with mommy and daddy.She is a loving big sister and goes to a Baptist Church Pre-school.She is my role model because she sets a good example for life and loves having a good time and points out that life is too short to waste it..

TEAM 3 - Le Reigne

I was so lucky to be paired up with these two amazing women. It was so much fun to get to know them. I know that I will still keep intouch with them even after this. It was great receiving emails and e-cards from them. And today I got this cute little gift set from Terry. Both of these women were equally amazing.

I was paired with two wonderful pageant ladies! First there is Tandi, what a sweetheart! We have a lot in common! We are both from the midwest and we both have two precious little girls about the same age. Tandi sent me a bouquet of virtual flowers the first day. That was so sweet, plus they stay fresh forever! :) She is a titleholder in many pageants and also an acredited judge, something I hope to be soon!
I was also paired with Laura. She is a total bundle of nonstop energy. How she does it I'll never know! She participates in many pageants, live and online, and is also a director for two pageants in her area. She also attends John Robert Powers in Philly, which is such a coincidence because I graduated from JRP in St. Louis! She is active in different college groups too. How this girl finds the time to eat and sleep, I have no idea. She is such a bright, intelligent young lady who will succeed in life!
I am glad that we had this "pageant sister" activity. It's nice to actually get to know the people that you "see" on a daily basis, to see that they are real people and not just a pretty picture! Thanks!

The pageant sisters program was a fun addition to the MBUSM experience. I met Tandi several years ago through online pageants but we haven't been in contact for a few years and it was so nice to get to know her again. She now has a beautiful baby girl who is a little pageant princess. Even though Tandi described some difficult issues in her life right now, she is a strong and resilient woman who I know will always come out on top. I look forward to seeing more photos of Kaia as she grows and keeping in touch with Tandi!
I enjoyed getting to know Terri for the first time. It was exciting to hear a little about her past swimsuit modeling career and learning that we are both sorority girls. She mailed me the cutest little gift bag with items that I have decorated my dorm room with and of course every girls favorite, beauty goodies! She also has a little girl, Sierra, who is cutie pie!
I really loved getting to know some of the other pageant contestants, which isn't typical of other contests unless specifically set up. Tandi and Terri are terrific women and I admire them for being wonderful mothers and going after their dreams and goals!
